Barbara E. Benton

BENTON, BARBARA ELLEN, 66, of Morris Plains formerly of Morristown died peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. Predeceased by her father Lester McKinley Benton (2010) and her mother Betty (nee Tennels) (1964). Beloved mother of Walter C. Malena, Michael J. Malena, Melissa L. Malena and her beloved boyfriend Benjamin Perez. Adored sister of the late Patricia Lynn Fucci (2010). Cherished grandmother of Chelsey L. Docherty, Logan J. Malena and Mia Rose Malena and Lucas S. Malena.
Barbara had a huge heart and was an extremely caring and loving person. She volunteered at the Hope House, Dover, the Redeemer Church Soup Kitchen, Morristown and was a member of Bethel Church of Morristown. She loved to dance and was a shop stopper and eye catcher. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Cremation was private. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
