MURPHY, Charles Stanton of Lodi, formerly of Maywood, passed away at the age of 25 in Ridgefield Park, NJ on April 28, 1982. Charlie attended Maywood Public Schools and Hackensack High School. He was the proprietor of Manhattan Photography in Bergenfield. He loved the life he shared with his longtime girlfriend Susan and their dog, Midnight. He enjoyed baseball, camping, cars, and spending time with his friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Rita (nee Stanton). His father, James Sr. joined him in 1999. For 42 years, generations of Murphys have searched for “Uncle Chip”. So grateful to have him home are his siblings: James Jr. & his wife Barbara, Thomas & his wife Jane, and Mary. Nieces & nephews: MaryHelen & John Gaffney and their children John, Karen & Sean; Jamie & Mike Powderley and their children Michael, Katie & Tommy; Barbara & Pat Higgins and their children Patrick, Jack & Bryan; James III & Sarah and their sons James IV & Christopher; Joanna & Matt O’Toole and their daughters Erin & Tara; Rita & Fredrik Tidholm and their son Alex.
Friends and family will be received for a Memorial Gathering on Thursday, June 20th from 9:00-10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 400 Maywood Ave, Maywood, NJ 07607. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 400 Maywood Ave, Maywood, NJ 07607. Burial will be private.
