Cullen J. McCann-Schlesiona

McCann-Schlesiona, Cullen J., 41, of Allendale formerly of New Fairfield, CT departed his family and friends on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. Leaving behind his mother Eileen McCann his father Peter Schlesiona. His sisters Kerry, Desiree and her husband Mike D’Antonio, his brother Pierce von Schlesien. Cherished uncle of Michael A. McCann, Michael X., and Charlotte V. D’Antonio. Adored nephew of 14 aunts and uncles, loved by17 cousins and many friends. His kind and gentle spirit will be missed by all.

Cullen spent many years in the restaurant business working at Smith and Wollensky, NYC, Buffalo Club, LA, The Little Nell, Aspen and Porterhouse, NYC. He most recently was a very proud Journeyman with the Local 45 United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, NY. Cullen was an avid outdoorsman and humanitarian.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 1st at 1:30 PM at The Church of the Presentation, 271 West Saddle River Road, Upper Saddle River, NJ 07458. Cremation was private.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in Cullen’s name to The Diabetes Foundation, 411 Hackensack Avenue Hackensack, New Jersey 07601, The Church of the Presentation OR a charity of your choice.
