March 19, 1941 — January 7, 2016

TRICAMO, ELAINE M., (nee Ginocchio), 74, of Nyack, NY formerly of Norwood, NJ died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, January, 7 2016. Elaine was the beloved wife of Steve, her husband of nearly 54 years, a professor at NJIT in Newark, NJ. Elaine’s three daughters Leigh, Nancy, and Jennifer will miss her greatly as will her sons-in-law Ron Manke and Andy Small. Her six grandchildren Michael, Olivia, Ethan, Ty, Andrew and Jesse will always remember her with their many happy memories. Elaine was the beloved niece of Anita Ginocchio, a dear cousin to Gail Rosen, Lynne Cohen, and Karen Hoversen, and a wonderful friend to many. Born and raised in Queens, NY, Elaine went on to become a teacher, an RN, and a research scientist at the NY State Psychiatric Institute at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan. She dedicated over 20 years to the healthcare field and was instrumental in trending data outcomes for patients suffering with mental illness. While working, Elaine also raised her family in Norwood, NJ. They enjoyed summers in Cape Cod and had a lot of laughs on many family camping trips. Elaine was an educator and health care professional who loved to help others. She requests that she is remembered with laughter and joy.
Her wishes for a memorial ‘party’ will be fulfilled on Sunday January 17, 2016 at The Nyack Seaport 21 Burd St. Nyack, NY 10960 from 2 pm until 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the arthritis foundation. ( http://www.arthritis.org/donate.php )
