ZARKA, JAMES, 74, of Pompton Plains formerly of Paterson died peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2022. We are saddened to announce the passing of a devoted Social Worker of Paterson for 40+ years at the Passaic County Board of Social Services. James enjoyed playing pool, golf, and swimming, but most of all, he loved being a father and grandfather. James passed away surrounded by loved ones. He leaves behind his daughter Amber, two grandchildren, Marcus and Amiyah, brother Joseph and sister Linda, nephews James, Joseph, Charles, and John-Paul, nieces, Mora and Megan, as well as his long-time companion Victoria.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday, October 30th from 4-8 PM at Manke Memorial @ Scillieri-Arnold Funeral Home, 351 Fifth Avenue, Paterson. A Funeral Service will be held during visitation starting at 7:00 PM. Cremation will be private.
