Josephine was one day shy of her 101st birthday. Beloved wife of the late Joseph (1969). Dear sister of the late James Baratta and Anthony Baratta. Cherished step mother of Angela. Adored aunt of Carmine & his late wife Naomi, Lynne & her husband Robert. Grand aunt of Mary & her husband Jack, Carmine & his wife Pam, Antoinette & her husband Paul and Jim.
Before retiring Josephine worked around Passaic and Bergen Counties in the restaurant business as a hostess. She most recently greeted patrons at Macaluso's in Hawthorne.
Cremation was private. Interment of Josephine’s cremated remains will be held on Tuesday, June 27th at 11:00 AM at Laurel Grove Memorial Park Cemetery, Totowa.
