Livia Rivera

RIVERA, LIVIA, 72, of Paterson. Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Niece, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2022, surrounded by family and friends. Livia served the Paterson Community for over 43 years working for El Dorado Furniture. She was a lifelong advocate for Paterson’s Hispanic Community ensuring that cultural traditions were celebrated. Livia is survived by three children, Luis, Shantelle, and Dominique along with five grandchildren. Livia is also survived by her brother Hector, sister-in-law Elaine, two nieces Christina and Michelle, along with five great-nieces and nephews. Livia was a diehard Mets fan. Livia treasured family gatherings and her home were always open to family and friends. Livia lovingly lived her life serving her community as a Village Mom and she will forever be missed. We love you Cholin!

Friends and family will be received on Sunday, April 24th from 4-8 PM at Manke Memorial @ Scillieri-Arnold Funeral Home, 351 Fifth Avenue, Paterson. A Funeral Service will be held during visitation at 7:15 PM. Cremation will be private.
