Mr. N.JOHN LOMBARDI formerly of Upper Saddle River, NJ, and Delray Beach, FL unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022, after a tragic auto accident. Devoted father of Christina Hodge (Matt), N.John Lombardi Jr. and granddaughter Sophia Hodge. Loving son to Rose Lombardi and his pre-deceased father, Joseph Lombardi (2020). Adored by his sisters, Barbara Lombardi Bragg (Arthur), Maria McKernan (Dennis), and Michele Lombardi Younes (Chris).
N.John is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Regional HS and Seton Hall University where he earned a degree in psychology. He enjoyed a successful career as a restaurant owner, Director of Operations of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and most recently as a licensed, professional counselor helping others through their life challenges giving motivational talks throughout Florida.
An avid athlete, whether the captain of the football team, a rugby teammate, or on the golf course. N.John’s infectious personality shined through all that he did. He touched the lives of everyone he met and was a loving, free spirit who gave of himself without hesitation. He could often be found on the beach kicking a ball, dropping a line, or riding a board.
Friends and family will be received on Sunday, September 11th between 4 PM – 8 PM at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Ramsey. Cremation will be private.
